Strip-Club Etiquette
Make your visit to your local strip club as enjoyable as possible by following these few unwritten rules. First and most importantly, no matter how "friendly" or inviting a girl may seem, always keep your hands to yourself. Otherwise, you’re looking for a slap in the face, knee to the groin, or a jab from a bouncer. And, please, don’t bother asking a performer out on a date. Just because she’s bared her breasts doesn’t mean she wants to go home with you. She’s just doing her job.
Keep in mind that the performers work primarily for tips so don’t enter a club with only enough cash to take care of the cover and a drink or two. Show your appreciation for the dancers by tipping, and if you sit at the foot of the stage, you really better be tipping. The more you tip, the more attention you’re likely to receive from the girls. Estimate $25 for each hour you expect to spend at the club. This should cover drinks and tips. Bring more if you want a lap or table dance. Speaking of lap dances, always find out exactly how much a service costs before agreeing to anything. This is especially true of the VIP rooms. If you don’t ask the right questions up front, you could find yourself out a lot of dough very quickly with little in return. And don’t be afraid to say no thank you—politely of course.
